Comstock is the ruler of the city, though he faces some opposition from the Vox Populi and its leader Daisy Fitzroy, who allegedly murdered Lady Comstock prior to the beginning of the game. He soon walks through a door and gets his first look at Columbia proper.Ĭolumbia reveres its Prophet, Father Comstock, who the city looks up to as though he's a God. Booker obliges and is nearly drowned, but soon awakes outside in front of three statues of America's Founding Fathers (the first of Infinite's many Historical references). Either combination is good for when you are lower on ammo or just need to reload. After traveling by boat along the Coast of Maine with two mysterious figures, Booker soon finds himself in a lighthouse, which he uses to ascend to Columbia. This only works once per Vending Machine but if you can replenish your Salts afterward it is a great boost. If you know there are Salts to be found in the nearby area then hit the vending machines to get some Silver Eagles. One final note: Possession can be used on Vending Machines to make them give you money. It cost virtually all your salts, save for having the second upgrade, so it is generally not worth the cost. Understand that only one thing can be possessed at a time (unless you are using the alternate fire). Heavy Hitters will only be possessed for half the total time and will not kill themselves at the end of the effect. Standard human enemies will kill themselves when the effect ends. Once upgraded it will allow Possession to work on Humans. When you initially get this vigor it only works on mechanical beings. It is key to getting him into Raffle Square and a great aid after that.
