![]() ![]() I'm not trying to be argumentative, and I certainly don't disagree with shelling out for a brand new maschine if you can. ![]() All the hardware can do is tell the software "hey, this button/pad is being held down" so that's all that can break. There's not going to be some wire on the inside that shorts and makes it so some function of the maschine stops working in a specific circumstance, that's physically impossible. Which if you sit there and poke all the buttons and pads on the maschine would be immediately apparent. ![]() All that can break with the hardware is the physical note repeat button stops functioning. When you hold down "note repeat" on the maschine all the hardware is doing is telling the computer software "button number 5 is held down" and the software takes that simplistic message and is like "ok, so that means repeat this note". What I'm saying is the brain of the maschine is the software. Nah, I'm not suggesting trying to fix a broken maschine.
